The value for money at this lodge was great, with a clean and basic room. The location was peaceful and isolated, perfect for getting away from it all. The staff treated me like family, with a warm and genuine welcome.

The breakfast selection could be improved by offering more variety and choices.

My stay at this lodge was a great value for the money. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the location was peaceful and quiet. The staff, especially Brenda, the hostess, was incredibly friendly and helpful. She even went above and beyond by calling me when I left my coat behind and was willing to mail it to me.

The breakfast could be improved with more variety and options.

I recently stayed at Champions Black Bear Lodge for a relaxing getaway. The lodge is nestled in a peaceful and quiet location, perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle of daily life. The hostess, Brenda, was extremely friendly and helpful, even going out of her way to ensure I didn't leave my coat behind. The double-hung windows with screens allowed for fresh air in the room, making for a comfortable and serene sleep. The nearby golf Club House Bistro served delicious, four-star dishes, and the chef's skill was remarkable. I also appreciated the educational visit to Poverty Point World Heritage Site.

    I can recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at a lodge in a peaceful, quiet, and rustic setting. The room was clean and had a lovely balcony with a beautiful view. The lodge itself was well maintained and I felt safe during my stay. One of the standout features of my experience was the helpful and friendly hostess, Brenda. She went above and beyond by calling me after I checked out to let me know I had left my coat behind. The fact that the windows had screens allowed for fresh air to come into the room, which was an added bonus. Additionally, the nearby golf club house had a stunning bistro that served delicious dishes. The chef there was truly amazing. it was a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

I would definitely recommend this hotel.
